My name is Dimitris. I'm the founder and CTO of EdgeBuddy, an AI trading coach that connects to 5 cryptocurrency exchanges, detects behavioral patterns in how people trade, and delivers personalized coaching in real time.
I started building EdgeBuddy in mid-2025. At the time, "AI agents" weren't a thing yet. There was no OpenClaw, no hype cycle, no "deploy your personal AI assistant" trend. I was just solving a problem: how do you build a system that watches thousands of trades, computes meaningful statistics, and then talks to you about what it found, without making things up?
Seven months and 50,000+ lines of production code later, EdgeBuddy runs 10 services, 7 background workers, processes data from 5 exchanges, and delivers coaching responses in under 2 seconds. It handles multi-tenant infrastructure, event-driven pipelines, prompt caching, security. All the things that sound complicated but just mean: it works reliably, every day, for every user.

Then OpenClaw came along, a brilliant open-source platform that lets you run a personal AI agent from a Mac Mini, accessible via WhatsApp or Telegram. I installed it. I studied it. I built skills for it. I ran it in production on my own machines.
And I immediately saw two things:
- This technology is genuinely transformative for small businesses. A Full-Time Agent that handles your email, calendar, and client follow-ups from WhatsApp, that's not a gimmick. That's a real shift in how you run your day.
- But getting it right is not trivial. Security hardening, access controls, persistent memory configuration, WhatsApp channel setup, cron scheduling, tool restrictions. There's a lot between "it runs" and "it runs safely and reliably for your business."
That's why I started 247solutions. Not as a side hustle from reading docs, but as a natural extension of what I've been doing every single day for the past 7 months: building systems where AI works alongside people, safely and reliably.
